Compatibility and Exclusion
Virtual Display Manager (VDM) offers runtime application exclusion, allowing specific applications to bypass VDM control when needed. This can be achieved via the `Ctrl+Alt`
key combination while maximizing a window, or through VDM’s configuration for persistent exclusion during the application’s runtime.
In certain scenarios, such as video games with advanced memory protection that permit only whitelisted applications during a session, driver-level exclusion becomes necessary. To address this, VDM provides a utility enabling driver-level exclusions.
Key Features
- Manual Input: Add the executable name of the application to exclude.
- Built-in Finder: Easily locate and select the executable.
- Administrative Privileges: Required to apply changes.
- Reboot Requirement: A system restart is necessary for the changes to take effect.
